Photograph 17

"Untitled"
Roses have always been important to me just because they are one of the most fragant flowers I enjoy and because like all flowers, they are all different and unique from one another.

This one is titled "Digitized Joshua Tree"

Photograph 14

This one is titled "In Flight".

Photograph 13

I took this photograph off of Long Beach because I had never seen a lighthouse. Lighthouses have always been interesting because they all are about leading ships that are lost in a storm or fog, to land safely at dock.

Photograph 12

This photograph I've titled "Flash Hail Storm, Red Jacket"

Photograph 11

I titled this "Thoughts at the Beach" since this guy seemed very thoughtful as he walked at the beach.

Photograph 10

I took this on my way to Catalina Island and loved how there were so many layers of clouds in the sky and the movement of the ocean. For me this is one of the most peaceful images I've taken and always love looking at it.

Photograph 9

Did I mention I love clouds, well after some meditation on how God has made wonders in my life happen I happened to look up and saw this cloud sweeping up opposite to this tree branch sticking out in a similar curve and movement and loved what I saw. For me this photograph represents how God has swept me away with His love, miracles, and basically His awesomeness.

Photograph 8

I took this photograph with it's natural light. What I like about this photograph is the way I captured the light in the back and that you can still see the details on the rail and the stair case.

Photograph 7

I also took this off a shore at Catalina Island and just loved the colors on the plant, I think it's seaweed, but am not sure...I just loved the colors on it and how the rocks added.

Photograph 6

I took this photograph on my final retreat with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Catalina Island (which I hope to visit again because it's a beautiful island). I just love how the iron chain is all rusty because of the sea water and the wood itself has also rotted just a little because of the paint.

Photograph 5

I like this photograph because it's simple and sweet. I took it after it rained. It's a magnolia tree and it's another of my favorite flowers.

Photograph 4

I love vines too! They constantly have movement and natural twists and curves. This is a photograph of a tree I have in my backyard and I took towards the evening.

Photograph 3

So I love clouds! I love how they never look the same when you watch them in the sky from one second to the next and just the different textures they'll demonstrate. I took this photograph during a random and powerful storm in Redlands, California. Something else I like about this photograph is that you can still feel the movement of the clouds. You will all be seeing plenty of pictures of clouds, hope you like this one.

Photograph 2

So this is my mom's favorite flower and one of mine too. I love how this image looked like in black and white with the contrast between the black and white, but it still has enough gray that shows details in the leaves and background and just love that it looks very classy and simple.

Photograph 1

This is one of my first photos when I began my digital photography classes. What I like about this image is that you know you're in southern California because of the palm tree, but at the same time you don't expect to see a stone building that looks like a castle. Feel free to add your input! :)
